Hinter dem Pseudonym "The Sperrgut Brothers" verstecken sich natürlich niemand anders als die beiden Gründerväter der Hunsrücker EM Schule
Hagen von Bergen und Christian Fiesel, die mit diesem ersten wirklich gemeinsamen Album ein Debüt jenseits der althergebrachten elektronischen Musik wie Berliner Schule oder Ambient auf den Markt werfen. "In your face" ist das Motto. Voller Anspielungen, Facetten, Rhythmen, Grooves, Samples. Ein Amalgam aus allem, was die Hunsrücker Schule ausmacht : düster, verrückt, oft auch unberechenbar, dissonant, verspielt, zum Fürchten, zum Lieben
und vorallem zum Immer-wieder-und-wieder-hören.
Kein Album für Berliner Schulkinder, Ambientträumerle oder schlichten Tanzgemütern. Progressiv soll es werden, nach vorne soll es gehen.

Behind the monker "The Sperrgut Brothers" are of course none other than the two founding fathers of the Hunsrück EM school
Hagen von Bergen and Christian Fiesel, who with this first truly joint album are releasing a debut beyond the traditional electronic music
music like Berlin School or Ambient. "In your face" is the motto. Full of allusions, facets, rhythms, grooves, samples
an amalgam of everything that makes up the Hunsrück school : dark, crazy, often unpredictable, dissonant, playful, to be feared, to be loved
and above all to listen to again and again.
Not an album for Berlin School Children, ambient dreamers or simple dancing minds.
It should be progressive, it should go forward.
Five tracks for a hallelujah ...

Here come the Sperrgut Brothers.
