Sensationeller Schubladen Fund

Hagen von Bergen's Early Tapes sind wieder aufgetaucht. Es handelt sich hier um einen Teil der Tracks, die in der Klanganstalt Bergen Mitte der 80ziger bis Mitte der 90ziger Jahre entstanden sein müssen, bevor es in eine längere Schaffenspause und – Krise ging.

Das Equipment damals bestand aus einem Tascam Porta One, Atari, Banana Synthesizer, EMU Proteus 3/World, Yamaha TG 55, Drumtraks und einem kleinen Alesis Mixer.

Die damaligen Demo Cassetten wurden nie wirklich zu Ende produziert, da sie nie verwertet wurden. Ein Freund hatte mir die Cassetten dann mit einem der ersten CD-Brenner einfach, wie sie halt waren, digitalisiert. Das heißt, an manchen Stellen gibt es Dropouts, Bandleiern, kleine Temposchwankungen usw. gratis dazu. Kein nachträgliches Mastering oder Edits , alles genau wie die historischen Aufnahmen halt waren. Aber, dafür ist das Album ja auch FOR FREE..........viel Spaß damit!

Sensational drawer find

Hagen von Bergen's Early Tapes have resurfaced. This is a part of the tracks that must have been created in the Klanganstalt Bergen in the mid 80s to mid 90s, before it went into a longer creative break and crisis.

The equipment at that time consisted of a Tascam Porta One, Atari, Banana Synthesizer, EMU Proteus 3/World, Yamaha TG 55, Drumtraks and a small Alesis mixer.

The demo cassettes of that time were never really finished, because they were never used. A friend of mine digitized the cassettes with one of the first CD burners, just as they were. This means that in some places there are dropouts, tape lyres, small tempo fluctuations etc. for free. No subsequent mastering or edits, everything exactly as the historic recordings were. But, for that the album is also FOR FREE.......... much fun with it!
